The MacBook Retina 12-inch Early 2015 (A1534) uses a glued-in lithium-polymer battery (approx. 39.7Wh), split into four slim cells adhered to the bottom case (C-side).
Over time, the battery may swell, lose charge quickly, fail to hold power, or shut down unexpectedly even at high percentage.
Battery replacement requires careful adhesive removal to avoid damage to the aluminum case, logic board, or fragile trackpad cable.
We use premium OEM or pulled original batteries that fully support macOS features and USB-C charging behavior.
After replacement, we reset the SMC and check battery health metrics (cycle count, voltage, status) to ensure safe operation.
